Evaluation procedure & criteria
Prizes will be assigned according to evaluations provided by the scientific committee (you can find the members at the bottom of this page). Each contribution will be evaluated by at least one member of the scientific committee; for contributions evaluated by more than one scientific committee member, the average score of each category will be used. You can find the categories and criteria used for the evaluation in the table below.
Each evaluation category is equally weighted, and prizes will be assigned based on total score (maximum 50 points for poster, 60 points for talks). In case of ties, placement will be decided with a coin toss. All thematic sessions participate in the same pool, i.e. there will be no session-specific prizes.
Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony, on February 7th, 16:00-17:00, we recommend anyone with a contribution to be present!
Should winners for talks and poster prizes not be present, vouchers can be delivered via email; however for the honorable mention(s) it will not be possible to ship the book, therefore if winner is not present during the closing ceremony, the prize will be assigned to the next candidate.
