We are excited to soon welcome you at CYBO 2025, to network and connect with the history and nature of Genova, we are pleased to invite you to two excursions; participation is encouraged but optional, you can join one or both!
February 7th, evening
Visit the historic centre of Genova with expert guides, taking us through the famous “vicoli” («alleys») and their history, concluding with an “aperitivo”.
This activity will start after the conference program ends, around 5pm on February 7th.
February 8th, full day
Excursion at the National Park of the Cinque Terre (https://www.parconazionale5terre.it/Eindex.php), to explore the local Mediterranean flora enclosed between the Appennine Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea (Gulf of Liguria), together with its iconic little villages and their multicolored houses built right on the cliffs’ edges overlooking the sea.
Transport by train from Genova to the starting point of the excursion, locality of Monte Rosso (participant must purchase train ticket).
In case of bad weather, a possible alternative is Monte Carmo, situated in the Ligurian Alps.
Please note that local transport tickets are not covered, and participants must purchase the necessary tickets. Further details will be provided later on, based on weather predictions.
